May-June 2013 Trek Conventions And Appearances

There will be twenty conventions, shows or appearances in May and June that feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.
There will be eleven conventions or appearances in May, beginning with Texas Frightmare Weekend, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency DFW Airport in Dallas, Texas on May 3-5. In attendance at the Texas Frightmare Weekend will be Jeffrey Combs and Denise Crosby.
Next up is the popular FedCon, which will be held May 9-12 at the Hotel Maritim in Dusseldorf, Germany. In attendance at FedCon will be Robert Beltran, James Cawley, Roxanne Dawson, J.G. Hertzler, Dina Meyer (Commander Donatra), Anthony Montgomery, Robert O’Reilly, Linda Park, Ethan Phillips, Mark Allen Shepherd, and Garrett Wang.
On May 10-12, the Ottawa ComicCon will take place at the Ernst & Young Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In attendance will be Wil Wheaton.
The Dallas Comic Con will be held on May 17-19 at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas. In attendance will be LeVar Burton, Gates McFadden, William Shatner, and Brent Spiner.
On the same weekend, the Motor City Comic Con will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan. In attendance at Motor City Comic Con will be Walter Koenig, Robert Duncan McNeill, and Marina Sirtis.
The Phoenix Comicon will be held from May 23-26 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona. In attendance will be Walter Koenig, Bill Mumy, Nichelle Nichols, and Garrett Wang.
On the same weekend, STICCON will be held at the Centro Congressi Europeo in Bellaria, Italy. In attendance at STICCON will be Robert Duncan McNeill and Robert Picardo.
Comicpalooza will be held on May 24-26 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. In attendance at Comicpalooza will be Avery Brooks, Armin Shimerman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Joseph Gatt, and Rene Auberjonois.
From May 30-June 2, the Philadelphia Comic Con will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. William Shatner will be a guest at this convention.
The Denver Comic Con will be held from May 31-June 2 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. In attendance at the Denver Comic Con will be George Takei, Anthony Montgomery and Wil Wheaton.
Wrapping up May will be The Official Star Trek Convention, to be held from May 31-June 2 at the Westin O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois. In attendance at this convention will be Rene Auberjonois, Casey Biggs, Avery Brooks, LeVar Burton, Jeffrey Combs, Michael Dorn, Aron Eisenberg, Jonathan Frakes, Max Grodenchik, Chase Masterson, Gates McFadden, Ethan Phillips, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Patrick Stewart, Nana Visitor, Arlene Martel, Cirroc Lofton, Sean Kenney (Pike), Don Marshall (Lt. Boma of The Galileo Seven), and Vaughn Armstrong.
June begins with Warp 03, which will take place in Prague, Czech Republic on June 1. In attendance at Warp 03 will be Robert Duncan McNeill, and Robert Picardo.
Next will be Spock Days, to be held from June 7-9 in Vulcan, Alberta, Canada. In attendance at this year’s Spock Days will be Ethan Phillips, Robert Picardo, and Rick Sternbach.
On June 8-9, The Official Star Trek Convention will be held at the John B. Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts. The following actors will be appearing at The Official Star Trek Convention: William Shatner, George Takei, Nichelle Nicholls, Brent Spiner, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn, Denise Crosby, Gates McFadden, Nana Visitor, Rene Auberjonois, and Suzie Plakson.
On the same weekend, the Niagara Falls Comic Con will be held at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. In attendance will be Tim Russ.
The Albuquerque Comic Expo will take place June 21-23 at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Joseph Gatt will be appearing at the Albuquerque Comic Expo.
SETIcon will be held from June 22-24 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in Santa Clara, California. Robert Picardo will be a speaker at SETIcon.
The New York City Experience will take place from June 28-30 at the Basketball City – Pier 36 in New York City. In attendance at this event will be Patrick Stewart and Wil Wheaton.
BayouCon will be held June 29-30 at the Chateau de Calcasieu in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Anthony Montgomery will be in attendance at BayouCon.
Finally, June wraps up with the Sci-Fi Sunday Autograph Show to be held June 30 at the Howard Johnson Hotel & Event Center in Fullerton, California. Marina Sirtis will be appearing at this event.
