June-July 2013 Trek Conventions And Appearances

There will be twenty-three conventions, shows or appearances in June and July that feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.

June begins with Warp 03, which will take place in Prague, Czech Republic on June 1. In attendance at Warp 03 will be Robert Duncan McNeill, and Robert Picardo.

Next will be Spock Days, to be held from June 7-9 in Vulcan, Alberta, Canada. In attendance at this year’s Spock Days will be Ethan Phillips, Robert Picardo, and Rick Sternbach.

On June 8-9, The Official Star Trek Convention will be held at the John B. Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts. The following actors will be appearing at The Official Star Trek Convention: William Shatner, George Takei, Nichelle Nicholls, Brent Spiner, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn, Denise Crosby, Gates McFadden, Nana Visitor, Rene Auberjonois, and Suzie Plakson.

On the same weekend, the Niagara Falls Comic Con will be held at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. In attendance will be Tim Russ.

The Albuquerque Comic Expo will take place June 21-23 at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Joseph Gatt will be appearing at the Albuquerque Comic Expo.

Supanova Sydney 2013 will take place June 21-23 at the Sydney Showground, Olympic Park, Sydney, Australia. In attendance will be Karl Urban, Anthony Montgomery, and Manu Intiraymi.

SETIcon will be held from June 22-24 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in Santa Clara, California. Robert Picardo will be a speaker at SETIcon.

The Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention will be held on June 23 at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center in Los Angeles. In attendance will be Barbara Luna (Mirror Mirror‘s Marlena Moreau).

OzTrek 9.5 will be held on June 26 in Melbourne, Australia. In attendance at this one evening event will be Anthony Montgomery.

The New York City Experience will take place from June 28-30 at the Basketball City – Pier 36 in New York City. In attendance at this event will be Patrick Stewart and Wil Wheaton.

Supanova Perth will be held June 28-30 at the Claremont Showgrounds in Perth. In attendance at Supanova Perth will be Karl Urban, Anthony Montgomery, and Manu Intiraymi.

SoonerCon 22 will be held June 28-30 at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City, Oklahoma. In attendance at SoonerCon 22 will be Larry Nemecek.

BayouCon will be held June 29-30 at the Chateau de Calcasieu in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Anthony Montgomery will be in attendance at BayouCon.

Finally, June wraps up with the Sci-Fi Sunday Autograph Show to be held June 30 at the Howard Johnson Hotel & Event Center in Fullerton, California. Marina Sirtis will be appearing at this event.

July begins with the Florida Supercon, which will be held July 4-7 at the Miami Airport Convention Center in Miami, Florida. In attendance will be George Takei.

The London Film & comic Con will be held Friday 5th – Sunday 7th July at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London. Plenty of Trek actors will be in attendance, including: Avery Brooks, Nicole DeBoer, Salome Jens, Barry Jenner, Armin Shimerman, Max Grodenchik, Aron Eisenberg, Kim Darby, Rene Auberjonois, David Warner, Nana Visitor, Bruce Gray (Star Trek: Enterprise‘s Surak), and Adrienne Barbeau (Senator Cretak).

On the same weekend, the Oz Comic-Con Melbourne will take place in the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. Deep Space Nine‘s Jeffrey Combs will be at Oz Comic-Con Melbourne.

Days of the Dead will be held July 5-7 at the Wyndham Indianapolis West in Indianapolis, Indiana. In attendance at Days of the Dead will be Tony Todd.

ConnectiCon will be held July 11-14 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford Connecticut. In attendance at ConnectiCon will be Marina Sirtis.

The Hollywood Show will take place July 12-14 at the Westin Los Angeles Airport in Los Angeles. In attendance at The Hollywood Show will be Nichelle Nichols, Arlene Martel (Amok Time), and France Nuyen (Elaan of Troyius).

The San Diego Comic-Con will take place July 18-21 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. In attendance at the San Diego Comic-Con will be Larry Nemecek, and Marina Sirtis.

Fandomfest, the Comic and Toy Expo, will take place July 26-28 at the Kentucky International Convention Center and the Galt House Hotel & Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. In attendance at Fandomfest will be William Shatner, and Saul Rubinek.

Wrapping up July will be Trekology 2013, which will take place July 27-28 at the Trafford Hall Hotel in Manchester, England. In attendance at Trekology 2013 will be Garrett Wang, and Chase Masterson.
