McCoy Statue To Debut

1 min read

A new collectible statue will feature DeForest Kelley as Dr. Leonard McCoy.

The 1:6 scale McCoy statue comes courtesy of the Hollywood Collectibles Group.

The statue, available for pre-order here, shows the doctor standing by his desk in Sickbay.

The heavyweight polystone statue, sculpted by Jim Maddox and painted using masters by Fred DiSanto, is twelve inches tall, with the overall height of the diorama being another two-and-a half inches taller than that.

If purchasing from HCG, two extra items are included: his chair and a “bonus medical machine for his desktop.” Only one-hundred-and-fifty of these individually numbered pieces are available from HCG. A regular edition without the extras is also available in a limited run of six hundred pieces. Both will sell for $199.95.

The McCoy statue is expected to ship in the third quarter of 2013.

  1. Indeed! And he’s not randomly injecting things into tribbles!
