Vegas Fans Beat Guinness World Record

1 min read

Fans attending Creation Entertainment’s Official Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas last weekend broke the Guinness Book of World Records for most people in one place in Star Trek costumes.

The record was snatched away from Star Trek London, which set the record last year with 1,063 fans dressed up in Trek costumes.

Vegas finished with 1,085 people in costume, including one last-minute entry, Deep Space Nine‘s Terry Farrell who wore a red original series dress created by Roddenberry Entertainment.

“You’re so [effing] cool,” said Farrell, who then told the crowd that if she returns next year, she’ll make her own costume.
