January-February Trek Conventions And Appearances

There will be fourteen conventions, shows or appearances in January and February that will feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.
Four shows and conventions will take place in February, beginning with Space City Con, which will be held January 3-5 at the Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa & Convention Center in Galveston, Texas. In attendance at Space City Con will be Julie Caitlin Brown, Joseph Gatt, Bill Mumy, Arne Starr, and Patricia Tallman.
Next up is the Hollywood Show, which will take place the same weekend at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, California. In attendance at the Hollywood Show will be Clint Howard (Balok).
The Albuquerque Comic Con will be held at the Hotel Albuquerque Old Town in Albuquerque from January 10-12. In attendance at the Albuquerque Comic Con will be Jonathan Frakes.
Wrapping up January will be the Portland Comic Con, which will take place January 24-26 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. In attendance at the Portland Comic Con will be Ron Perlman (Reman Viceroy), and William Shatner.
Ten conventions and appearances will take place in February, starting off with
Oz Trek 10, which takes place on February 1 at the Sebel Surry Hills in Sydney, Australia. Jonathan Frakes and Robert Duncan McNeill will be in attendance at Oz Trek 10.
On February 2, Oz Trek 10 will take place at Rydges Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia. In attendance will be Jonathan Frakes and Robert Duncan McNeill.
The SF Ball 20 will take place February 7-9 at The Carrington House Hotel in Bournemouth, England. Marina Sirtis will be appearing at SF Ball 20.
On the same weekend, Days of the Dead will be held at the Sheraton Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. In attendance will be Tony Todd.
Another convention taking place February 7-9 is the New Orleans Comic Con, to be held at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Wil Wheaton will be appearing at the New Orleans Comic Con.
The Sci-Fi Expo will take place February 8-9 at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas. Attending Sci-Fi Expo will be Alice Eve, Saul Rubinek, Karl Urban, and Peter Weller.
Gallifrey One: 25 Glorious Years will take place February 14-16 at the Marriott Los Angeles Airport in Los Angeles, California. In attendance will be David Gerrold, Deep Roy (Keenser), and Scott and David Tipton (IDW Publishing writers).
MystiCon will be held February 21-23 at the Holiday Inn – Tanglewood in Roanoke, Virginia. John de Lancie will be in attendance at MystiCon.
Pensacon will also take place February 21-23, and will be held at the Crowne Plaza Grand Hotel in Pensacola, Florida. Walter Koenig, Deep Roy (Keenser), and Ronald D. Moore will be in attendance at Pensacon.
Wrapping up February will be Destiny Star Trek, which will take place February 21-23 at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany. Plenty of Trek stars will be in attendance including Vaughn Armstrong, Rene Auberjonois, Casey Biggs, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, William Shatner, Armin Shimerman, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, and Kitty Swink.
