March-April 2014 Trek Conventions And Appearances

There will be twenty-one conventions, shows or appearances in March and April 2014 that will feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.
March begins with the Cardiff Film & Comic Con, which will take place March 1-2 at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales. Star Trek VI‘s David Warner (Chancellor Gorkon) will be at the Cardiff Film & Comic Con.
Coast Con will be held from March 7-9 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. The Next Generation‘s John de Lancie will be at Coast Con.
On the same weekend, MarsCon will be held at the Doubletree Bloomington-Minneapolis South in Bloomington, Minnesota. In attendance will be J.G. Hertzler.
The Toronto ComiCon will also take place on March 7-9 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In attendance will be Denise Crosby.
The Sacramento Comic Con will take place on March 7-9 at the Sacramento Convention Center in Sacramento, California. The original series’ William Shatner, and Chris Hemsworth (Star Trek 2009) will be seen at the Sacramento Comic Con.
Planet Comicon will be held March 14-16 at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Plenty of Trek stars will be at Planet Comicon, including: LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, William Shatner, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, and Wil Wheaton.
The Lexington Comic & Toy Convention will take place March 14-16 at the Lexington Convention Center in Lexington, Kentucky. In attendance will be Christopher McDonald (Lt. Richard Castillo), George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, and William Shatner.
Deepcon will be held March 17-19 at the Hotel Ambasciatori in Fiuggi, Italy. Star Trek: Enterprise‘s Dominic Keating will be in attendance at Deepcon.
MegaCon will take place March 21-23 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Arne Starr, Karl Urban, and Wil Wheaton will be at MegaCon.
The Sci-Fi Weekender will be held March 27-30 at Hafan y Mor Holiday Park in Pwllheli, Wales. Rene Auberjonois and Ethan Phillips will be at the Sci-Fi Weekender.
The Emerald City Comicon will take place March 28-30 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington. In attendance at Emerald City Comicon will be John de Lancie, Michael Dorn, Nichelle Nichols, Rachel Nichols (Gaila), Dwight Schultz, Mark Sheppard, and Karl Urban.
March wraps up with Oz Comic Con, to be held March 29-30 at the Perth Exhibition Centre in Perth, Australia. In attendance will be John Billingsley, Bonita Friedericy, Connor Trinneer, and Nana Visitor.
April begins with Supanova Gold Coast, which will take place April 4-6 at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre in Gold Coast, Australia. In attendance at Supanova will be Gary Lockwood.
Lockwood will also be appearing at Supanova Melbourne, which will take place April 11-13 at the Melbourne Showgrounds in Melbourne, Australia.
The Oz Comic Con Adelaide will take place April 5-6 at the Adelaide Showgrounds in Adelaide, Australia. In attendance at Oz Comic Con Adelaide will be: John Billingsley, Bonita Friedericy, Nana Visitor, and Connor Trinneer.
The Steel City Con will be held April 11-13 at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. In attendance at Steel City Con will be Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner.
On the same weekend, the Hollywood Show will take place, being held at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel in Los Angeles. In attendance will be Michael Forest, Sally Kellerman, Joanne Linville, Billy Mumy and Sherry Jackson (Andrea in What Are Little Girls Made Of?).
The Salt Lake Comic Con will take place April 17-19 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. In attendance will be: LeVar Burton, Denise Crosby, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner.
The Official Star Trek Convention will be held April 25-27 at the Crowne Plaza Cherry Hill in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. In attendance at the Official Star Trek Convention will be Robert Beltran, James Darren, Aron Eisenberg, Terry Farrell, Max Grodenchik, J.G. Hertzler, Anthony Montgomery, Kate Mulgrew, Nichelle Nichols, Robert O’Reilly, Robert Picardo, Suzie Plakson, and John Paladin.
Arlene Martel will be appearing at TrekTrax Atlanta 2014, to be held at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria in Atlanta, Georgia on April 25-27.
Wrapping up April will be Chiller Theater, which will take place April 25-27 at the Sheraton Parsippany in Parsippany, New Jersey. In attendance at Chiller Theater will be: Clifton Collins Jr., Walter Koenig, and Chris Sarandon (Deep Space Nine: Rivals).
