There will be twenty-seven conventions, shows or appearances in August and September 2014 that will feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.
August begins with the Official Star Trek Convention will take place July 31 – Aug. 3 at the Rio Suites Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. FandomFest will take place Aug. 1-3 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. In attendance will be: LeVar Burton, Denise Crosby, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, and Karl Urban.
The San Antonio Comic Con will take place Aug. 1-3 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. William Shatner will be at the San Antonio Comic Con.
The Steel City Con will be held Aug. 8-10 at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. In attendance at the Steel City Con will be LeVar Burton.
On the same weekend, the Houston Con will be held at the Hilton Houston North in Houston, Texas. Those in attendance include: Gary Graham, J.G. Hertzler, and Tony Todd.
Over in the UK, Doctor Who Cares will take place Aug. 9 at the Copthorne Hotel in Windsor, England. Deep Space Nine‘s Alexander Siddig will be at Doctor Who Cares.
The StocktonCon will be held Aug. 9-10 at the Stockton Arena in Stockton, California. The Next Generation‘s Denise Crosby will be at StocktonCon.
Next up is Monster-Mania Con which will take place Aug. 15-17 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Denise Crosby will be in attendance.
The Official Stargate Convention will be held Aug. 15-17 at the Westin O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois. Star Trek: Enterprise‘s Connor Trinneer will be in attendance.
The San Jose Super Toy & Comic Book Show will take place Aug. 16-17 at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose, California. Adrienne Barbeau (Senator Cretak) will be at the San Jose Super Toy & Comic Book Show.
The Chicago Comic Con will take place Aug. 21-24 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. In attendance will be: LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, William Shatner, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Patrick Stewart, and Karl Urban. A special event featuring Stewart, Frakes, Burton, Dorn, Sirtis, Spiner and McFadden will take place Sunday, Aug 24. at the Rosemont Theater (for an extra fee). The TNG panel will be hosted by Shatner.
Next will be the Fan Expo Canada, which will be held Aug. 28-31 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. William Shatner and Patrick Stewart will be at Fan Expo Canada.
Dragon*Con will be held Aug. 29 – Sep. 1 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta/Hilton Atlanta/Marriott Marquis Atlanta/Sheraton Atlanta and the Weston Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia. In attendance will be: Lee Arenberg (DaiMon Bok), Stephen Collins, Kathleen O’Shea David, Peter, David, Keith R.A. DeCandido, Christie Golden, Walter Koenig, Saul Rubinek (Kivas Fajo), Patrick Stewart, Carl Urban, Garrett Wang, and Peter Weller.
Wrapping up August will be TrekGate which will be held Aug. 30-31 at the Hilton in Dusseldorf, Germany. In attendance at TrekGate will be John Billingsley, Bonita Friedericy, and Scarlett Pomers (Naomi Wildman).
September begins with the San Jose Comic Con, which will take place Sept. 4-6 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California. William Shatner can be found at the San Jose Comic Con.
The Salt Lake ComicCon will take place Sept. 4-6 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. In attendance at the Salt Lake ComicCon will be Christopher Lloyd.
Next up is the Oz Comic Con, to be held Sept. 6-7 at the Convention & Exhibition Centre in Brisbane, Australia. William Shatner will be at the Oz Comic Con Brisbane.
Scare-A-Con will take place Sept. 12-14 at the Turing Stone Resort & Casino in
Verona, New York. In attendance at Scare-A-Con will be Deep Space Nine‘s Jeffrey Combs.
The Montreal ComicCon will be held Sept. 12-14 at the Palais des Congres de Montreal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In attendance will be: Denise Crosby, John de Lancie, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner.
HawaiiCon will be held Sept. 12-15 at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel in Kohala Coast, Hawaii. Walter Koenig will be in attendance.
Back to Australia with Oz Comic Con, taking place Sept. 13-14 at the Harbour Expo in Sydney, Australia. William Shatner will be found at Oz Comic Con Sydney.
RocCon will be held Sept. 19-21 at the Kodak’s Theatre on The Ridge in Rochester, New York. Brent Spiner will be in attendance.
Next will be the Rose City Comic Con, taking place Sept. 20-21 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. Wil Wheaton will be at the Rose City Comic Con.
The Nashville Comic Con will be held Sept. 26-28 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. In attendance at the Nashville Comic Con will be LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, William Shatner, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner.
On the same weekend, Sci-Con Tampa will be held at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida. Aron Eisenberg will be at Sci-Con Tampa.
Also on Sept. 26-26 will be the Alamo City Comic Con, to be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. In attendance will be Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, and George Takei.
September will wrap up with Retro Con, to be held Sept. 27-28 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Chris Doohan will be at Retro Con.
