October-November 2014 Trek Conventions And Appearances

There will be twenty-seven conventions, shows or appearances in October and November 2014 that will feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.
October begins with the Ft. Lauderdale Comic Con, to be held Oct. 2-4 at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. William Shatner will be at the Ft. Lauderdale Comic Con.
Destination Star Trek 3 , will take place October 3-5 at the Excel in London, England. In attendance will be Vaughn Armstrong, Richard Arnold, Casey Biggs, LeVar Burton, Denise Crosby, James Darren, John de Lancie, Michael Dorn, Aron Eisenberg, Bryan Fuller, Bruce Greenwood, Max Grodenchik, Hana Hatae, Alice Krige, Gates McFadden, Colm Meaney, Eric Menyuk, Nicholas Meyer, Anthony Montgomery, Ronald D. Moore, Larry Nemecek, Nichelle Nichols, Leonard Nimoy (Skype Appearance only), Ethan Phillips, Robert Picardo, Suzie Plakson, Steve Rankin, Tim Russ, Jeri Ryan, William Shatner, Alexander Siddig, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Sir Patrick Stewart, and Karl Urban.
On that same weekend, Fantom Fest will be held at the Scranton Hilton Hotel & Conference Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In attendance will be Jeffrey Combs.
Next up is the Hamilton Comic Con, which will be held Oct 4 at the Hamilton Convention Centre in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. In attendance will be Garrett Wang.
The New York Comic Con will take place Oct. 9-12 at the Javits Center in New York, New York. In attendance will be LeVar Burton, Denise Crosby, John de Lancie, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Damon Lindelof, Gates McFadden, William Shatner, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Sir Patrick Stewart, and Karl Urban.
The Tree City Comic Con will take place Oct. 17-18 at Expo Idaho in Boise, Idaho. In attendance will be Nichelle Nichols and Marina Sirtis.
Rock & Shock will be held Oct. 17-19 at the DCU Center & Worchester Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts. Jeffrey Combs and Sid Haig (Lawgiver in The Return of the Archons) will be at Rock & Shock.
On that same weekend, the Hollywood Show will take place at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel in Los Angeles, California. In attendance will be Bobby Clarke, Manu Intiraymi, and Walter Koenig.
The London Film & Comic Con Winter will take place Oct 18-19 at Earls Court 2 in London, England. In attendance at this convention will be Diana Muldaur.
On that same weekend, the Armageddon Expo will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds in Melbourne, Australia. Judson Scott (Joachim, The Wrath of Khan) will be in attendance.
The Epic-Con Ohio: Geek Fest will take place Oct 24-26 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, Ohio. In attendance at Epic-Con Ohio will be Walter Koenig, David Warner and Tony Todd.
Also on October 24-26 will be Chiller Theatre to be held at the Sheraton Parsippany in Parsippany, New Jersey. In attendance will be Louise Fletcher, Gerrit Graham (Quinn the Q), and Sally Kellerman.
The Geek Media Expo will be held Oct. 24-26 at the Cool Springs Conference Center & Franklin Marriott in Franklin, Tennessee. In attendance will be Garrett Wang.
On October 24-27, the Armageddon Expo will be held at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland, New Zealand. Judson Scott (Joachim, The Wrath of Khan) will be in attendance.
Collector Con will be held Oct 31-Nov 2. In attendance at Collector Con will be Aron Eisenberg.
On that same weekend, the Malta Comics Expo will be held at the Mediterranean Conference Center in Valletta, Malta. In attendance will be Joseph Gatt and Robert Picardo.
Wrapping up October will be the Ohio Comic Con, which will take place Oct 31-Nov 2 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. In attendance at the Ohio Comic Con will be Karl Urban.
November begins with the Rhode Island Comic Con, to be held November 1-2 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island. In attendance will be Bobby Clark, Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Saul Rubinek, William Shatner, and George Takei.
Next up is Hal-Con, which will take place November 7-9 at the World Trade and Convention Center in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. In attendance will be Michelle Forbes and Garrett Wang.
On the same weekend, the Tulsa Comic Con will be held at the Tulsa Convention Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In attendance will be William Shatner and Karl Urban.
Shatterdome Con will also take place November 7-9 and will be held at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport in Herndon, Virginia. Tim Russ will be in attendance at Shatterdome Con.
The Cardiff Film & Comic Con will be held November 8-9 at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales. Noel Clarke will be in attendance at this convention.
The Reno Comic Con will be held November 21-23 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada. In attendance will be Walter Koenig and William Shatner.
Next up is the Grand Rapids Comic-Con, to be held November 21-23 at the DeltaPlex in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Nichelle Nichols will be in attendance at the Grand Rapids Comic-Con.
The Lethbridge Entertainment Expo will take place November 22-23 at the Lethbridge Exhibition Park at Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. In attendance will be Garrett Wang.
Super Megafest will be held November 22-23 at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel in Framingham, Massachusetts. In attendance will be Deep Roy, Denise Crosby, Jonathan Frakes, and Marina Sirtis.
Wrapping up November will be Starbase Indy, which will take place November 28-30 at the Indianapolis Marriott East, in Indianapolis, Indiana. In attendance will be Aron Eisenberg, Max Grodenchik, and Nana Visitor.

Bill Shatner goes to a ton of conventions; I’m amazed that an 83-year-old man still has so much energy! It was that astonishing energy that made him such a passionate Kirk, and he’s still got it. Truly, he’s remarkable.
