Trek 3 Filming Location Revealed

A new shooting location for Star Trek 3 has been announced by the mayor of the city in question.

The city is located in Asia.

Star Trek 3 will have some of its scenes shot in Seoul, South Korea, according to Park Won-soon, Mayor of Seoul.

“Today I met with Jeffrey Chernov, producer of Star Trek 3, at the Paramount Pictures Studio and agreed to film a portion of the upcoming movie in Seoul,” he said via Facebook.

Star Trek 3 isn’t the only movie that has filmed in Seoul recently. The forthcoming sci-fi drama series Sense 8 is filming around Cheonggyecheon, a stream that runs through downtown Seoul. Avengers 2, which will release next year, was also filmed partly on Seoul.
