Klingons stuck on Earth who crave Klingon Bloodwine will be happy with announcement that their favorite beverage will soon be available.

“Traditionally consumed in celebration and victory,” Klingon Bloodwine will arrive on the planet on December 8.

Star Trek fans everywhere will recognize the label of Klingon Bloodwine, a symbol comprised of the bat’leth or ‘sword of honor,’ a traditional Klingon weapon. The back label includes the victorious Klingon phrase: ‘Celebrate! Tomorrow we may die!” (yIlop! wa’IeS chaq maHegh!). Also, Bloodwine appears across the middle of the back label in the original Klingon language (not transposed into the Latin alphabet).

Klingon Bloodwine is “rich, rustic, fruit focused and complex [with] Concentrated raspberry and cherry aromas. Notes of spicy vanilla oak round out the nose. On the palate, the wine is savory and rich, with dark berry flavors and ripe plum. Velvety tannins and well balanced acidity lead to a smooth, lingering finish.”

Klingon Bloodwine will be available from Vinport, and can be pre-ordered now.

  1. Because when I think of Klingons I think of rich vanilla overtones with hints of cherry and plum.
