New Trek Action Figures At Toy Fair

Several companies displayed Star Trek figures at the Toy Fair last weekend.
The figures come courtesy of QMx, Funko, and Bif Bang Pow!.
QMx is making a new one-sixth scale Captain Picard figure, including a phaser rifle.
Funko‘s second wave of original series figures in their “retro ReAction” range will include Kirk, Scotty, Vina, and The Gorn.
Bif Bang Pow! will be making The Big Bang Theory characters dressed in Trek uniforms. 3 3/4″ in height, two of the figures, Sheldon as Spock, and Bernadette in Blue Science Dress were shown at the Toy Fair.

Picard’s face is pretty impressive… but what’s with the giraffe neck?
Maybe Chekov will be in the second wave of ReAction Trek figures (retailers like Toys R Us and Target start griping about too many Trek characters in uniforms on their shelves all at once as they like to see more variety there).
Anybody else notice that it looks like Picard’s fly is open?
Picard looks more like Elliot Stabler than he should.
That part was modeled from the scene in Insurrection where Picard looks at himself in the mirror right before he tangos. 🙂
Haha I can see that! Still, it’s better than most action figure faces that are usually WAY off.
