Star Trek #41 was written by Mike Johnson, and overseen by Roberto Orci. Art and a cover were created by Cat Staggs.

Ugh, why do they keep pumping out this reboot dreck. Just seeing the photo of ‘Carol Marcus’ and the superhero style poses on the cover is just ugh.
Still plenty of Prime universe books coming out.
Carol saying that weapons were a guys only club and that’s why she studied it on a whim is stupid: it’s the damn 23th century, she isn’t some special snowflake who needs to open the door for women in a sexist world. Why can’t she study it just because it was her passion?
She’s the character in these comics who constantly asks Kirk to get included in away missions and it’s getting annoying because in comparision the others never do that.
Shouldn’t they have enough time to interact since the story is years later? Am I supposed to think it’s the first time Kirk speaks to her? There is no way you can make build it up to the couple when everyone knows they will be together, there is no surprise. Just put them together and move on.
Stop calling 23rd century landing parties “away missions”.
