Star Trek #41 – Five Year Mission will be released tomorrow, but fans can have a sneak peek today.

Behemoth Part I is included in this issue.

In Behemoth Part I, “the USS Enterprise crew…in the wake of their century-spanning encounter with Q, leaves explored space behind to embark on a new five-year mission of discovery. Beyond the reach of Starfleet communications, they can only rely on each other when faced with their first encounter in uncharted territory…which might also be their last.”

Star Trek #41 was written by Mike Johnson, and overseen by Roberto Orci. Art and a cover were created by Cat Staggs.

The thirty-two page issue will sell for $3.99.

  1. Ugh, why do they keep pumping out this reboot dreck. Just seeing the photo of ‘Carol Marcus’ and the superhero style poses on the cover is just ugh.

  2. Carol saying that weapons were a guys only club and that’s why she studied it on a whim is stupid: it’s the damn 23th century, she isn’t some special snowflake who needs to open the door for women in a sexist world. Why can’t she study it just because it was her passion?
She’s the character in these comics who constantly asks Kirk to get included in away missions and it’s getting annoying because in comparision the others never do that.
Shouldn’t they have enough time to interact since the story is years later? Am I supposed to think it’s the first time Kirk speaks to her? There is no way you can make build it up to the couple when everyone knows they will be together, there is no surprise. Just put them together and move on.
