Star Trek ReActions Second Wave Figures

1 min read

ReActionFigurines033015

Official images for the second wave of Funko‘s Star Trek ReAction figures have been released.

This wave includes Kirk, Scotty, the Gorn, and Vina as an Orion slave girl.

The figures measure three-and-three-quarters of an inch high each, and have “five points of articulation.”

The first wave of Trek figures, already out, includes Spock, McCoy, Uhura, and Sulu.

The only regular crew member not out yet is Chekov, so it’s possible that a third wave including Chekov and perhaps some aliens (Klingons? Romulans? Andorians?) will emerge.

Each figure costs $9.99. The first wave figures can be ordered now, while the second wave can be pre-ordered for a July 2015 release. To see all of the figures, head to the link located here.

  1. No description. Height? Material? At least they give the price, which most companies don’t bother to do anymore.

  2. I need more articulation and a better pain job before I’ll get excited. I wish there was one good quality action figure line that covers all six series and 10 original films. If only!

  3. “The figures measure three-and-three-quarters of an inch high each.”

    From the above article.

I don’t usually give composition of plastic-type figures.

  4. Not gonna get it here, alas. These are deliberately “retro” style, down to the minimal articulation, soft details, odd proportions, and goofily inaccurate faces. They must be doing well, since they’re doing figures from a number of different nostalgia properties, but they don’t really appeal to me either.

  5. The “retro” hook is merely their excuse for making these figures as cheaply and shittily as possible. Action figures back in the ’80s were generally of considerably higher quality, limited articulation and all, than anything I’ve seen from this ReAction line.
