New IDW App In Development

IDW Publishing and motion comic book pioneer Madefire are working together on a new line of apps for both Android and iOS.
The app will be released at the end of the month.
IDW Publishing will be releasing a “new flagship” app on both Android and iOS on May 28, along with new apps for Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Trek apps.
The apps will enable customers to purchase comics within the app via an in-app purchase, something that is not available with IDW‘s current iOS Comixology app.
IDW Publishing began selling digital comics in 2009.

Cool! Since IDW is doing Star Trek comic with John Byrne, who has done and is doing more with the Gary Seven characer, do you think they’ll be any chance of a Gary Seven being the center of one of these offerings?

Oh, ok. I didn’t see the link when I first read your post. Have to admit I have mixed feelings about it. Cool, but I like my retro feel on the project. Wonder if they’re going to do it with that in mind.

I doubt it, due to the amount of material Byrne would have to find to make a photonovel/fumetti version of ‘Assignment Earth’.
I don’t know……I’ve heard an upcoming issue of the Trek book he’s working on now has Gary Seven. Coming out in July. I also believe it’s the 7th issue of that series he’s doing. Clever that Byrne. Waiting eagerly.
