The first in a new series of TOS action figures was unveiled at last week’s San Diego Comic-Con.

The new action figures come courtesy of Moebius Models.

The two action figures include Kirk and Spock. The action figures are poseable and feature fabric uniforms and various hands and props.

Expect to see the Kirk and Spock actions figures in the fourth quarter of this year. No price has been announced yet.

  1. These are nice, although I would have expected a model kit from Moebius. Would still like to see an injection molded Kirk kit (this was not done by Aurora Plastics because AMT had the licensing deal for US). Aurora released the Spock kit they designed and AMT’s Enterprise in Europe; AMT sold Aurora’s Spock and their USS Enterprise in the United States.

  2. Yet another expensive doll set-forget it. I’d rather buy dolls of these two from Mattel, as was issued by them in 2009 for the 2009 film (Ken doll was both Kirk and Spock, while Barbie doll was Uhura.)

  3. Kang would prefer a nicely done statue. Unless Kang develops some urgent need to see Kirk and Barbie make out.

  4. Statues break and require a place to put them in (or on), action figures are much better and don’t break as easily.

  5. Coincidentally enough, these characters were also played by Ken and Barbie dolls in the movie itself.
