Three Star Trek comics will be released by IDW Publishing in February 2016.

The comics include: Star Trek: New Visions, Vol. 3; Star Trek #54; and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy #3.

In Star Trek: New Visions, Vol. 3, “John Byrne presents all-new, feature-length tales set in the Star Trek: The Original Series universe, done in a unique, one-of-a-kind photomontage style.” In this collection are the following stories: Resistance, which features the Borg; 1971, where Captain Kirk goes back to 1971 and meets up with Gary Seven; and The Survival Equation, where numerous killer androids appear.

With story, art and cover by Byrne, the one-hundred-and-thirty-six page issue will cost $19.99.

Star Trek #54 will also make its debut in February. In this issue “galactic peace hangs in the balance as the Enterprise crew battles a renegade Orion faction…and faces betrayal from within! Don’t miss the conclusion of this all-new story as events continue to unfold in the lead up to the release of the newest blockbuster Star Trek movie next summer!”

Written by Mike Johnson with art and a cover by Tony Shasteen, Star Trek #54 will be thirty-two pages in length and will cost $3.99.

The third Star Trek comic coming next February will be Star Trek: Starfleet Academy #3. In this issue, the “all-new hit Star Trek mini-series continues here, as Uhura and Kirk draw closer to uncovering the truth surrounding a century-old mystery. Meanwhile, T’Laan and the new cadets find themselves on the brink of elimination from the Centennial Competition!”

Written by Mike Johnson and Ryan Parrott, with art and a cover by Derek Charm, Starfleet Academy #3 will be thirty-two pages in length and will cost $3.99.
