You know, I’m just a small town country engineer, but I’m fairly sure catfish and plasma don’t have much to do with each other. Dolphinfish, maybe, but catfish? Not so sure.
Just in case you really don’t recognize it, it refers to Trip Tucker – the engineer with the Southern US accent – from Star Trek: Enterprise. Catfish being associated with the deep South and . . . well the joke loses its humor around this point.
