Star Trek Will Bring CBS Plenty of Cash

In a meeting with investors, CBS Chief Operation Officer Joseph Ianniello told them that by 2020, CBS All Access expects to have four million subscribers.
CBS All Access plans to air three or four original series a year, including Star Trek, it’s “crown jewel” franchise.
Expected revenue by 2020 will be $400 million per year, said Ianniello.
The new Star Trek series will begin streaming next January. CBS All Access is a subscription service costing $6.00 a month.
