Charges Against Lien Dropped

1 min read

Star Trek: Voyager‘s Jennifer Lien appeared in the Roane County General Sessions Court on Monday, where her criminal charges were dropped.

The charges, dating back to 2015 and 2016, included evading arrest, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, aggravated assault and indecent exposure.

Lien paid $2,291.85 in restitution to the Harriman Police Department on Feb. 29. She was ordered to continue complying with her mental health treatment.

“She had paid restitution in full to Harriman PD and had complied for six months or more without any further problems, and is supposedly doing well,” said District Attorney General Russell Johnson.

“I know one factor [in the charges being dropped] was that she had fully paid restitution to HPD (Harriman Police Department) for damage done during the first incident,” said Public Defender Kim Nelson. “All her cases were dismissed.”

Another factor in favor of dismissing the charges was that Lien had kept out of trouble since her last court appearance.
