Urban In Negotiations For Action Thriller

1 min read

Star Trek Beyond‘s Karl Urban is in talks for a role in the thriller Entry Level.

If he signs, Urban would join Brenton Thwaites in the flick.

In Entry Level, written by Benjamin Hurley, “a young man (Thwaites)…mysteriously awakens in a super high-security office building and is forced by an unknown stranger to complete a strictly timed series of dangerous tasks that implicate him in a deadly crime with global consequences. The building’s top-level security team, led by Chief Morris Baslo (Urban), pursues him in this action packed game of cat and mouse.

“Karl Urban’s ability to present a smart, gritty character who is shaded with humanity makes him the ideal person for this role,” said Producer Sheila Taylor. “We couldn’t imagine a better foil for our film, and cannot wait to watch his character race against the clock as he puts the pieces together.”

“Karl Urban is one of the film industry’s most exciting actors having played a number of iconic roles in recent times,” said Tannaz Anisi of 13 Films. “He brings a level of gravitas and suspense to all of his performances and has a proven track record of playing versatile and commanding characters. Karl is perfect to bring this heart racing chase film to life.”

Entry Level will begin filming early next year.
