Agents of Yesterday, the third official expansion for the Star Trek Online MMORPG, will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on February 14.
In Agents of Yesterday, players are sent “back in time to become captains from Star Trek: The Original Series, the iconic television series that paved the way for one of the most popular sci-fi franchises of all time. The newest update to consoles allows players to create their own Star Trek: The Original Series captains and access exciting episodic story content and gameplay features from both Agents of Yesterday and the expansion’s latest update, Artifacts.
“Under the leadership of Captain Kuumaarke, the Lukari have set out on a journey to investigate some unusual activity in an unexplored region of the Alpha Quadrant. Upon further inspection, they discover data that suggests weaponized use of protomatter. Fearing the Tzenkethi are behind this, they put out a call for help to the Alliance, who tasks captains from across the galaxy to help the Lukari prevent a looming cataclysmic attack.”
Some of the characters in Agents of Yesterday are voiced by former Trek actors including Walter Koenig, Chris Doohan, Matt Winston, Chase Masterson, and Joseph Gatt.
