Comic book fans attending San Diego Comic Con this summer can pick up a special variant comic.
Vaultcollectibles.com has announced their “very first San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, a special variant cover to Star Trek: Waypoint #6. Concluding the six-part limited series celebrating Star Trek‘s Fiftieth anniversary, and spanning all incarnations of the series – from the original adventures of Kirk’s Enterprise right up to the present – this exclusive variant is an homage to the iconic cover that inaugurated the franchise’s ongoing comic book adaptations: Star Trek #1 released by Gold Key in 1967.”
The special comic features the work of Dave Dorman. It will be available only at San Diego Comic Con with a limited run of one thousand copies. Star Trek: Waypoint #6 will be available for $15.00 at the Rolling Thunder Booth at Comic Con.
