More details on the McFarlane Toys Star Trek: Discovery line were released at Star Trek Las Vegas last weekend.
The line of seven-inch figures will begin with Michael Burnham, and T’Kuvma, the company said. Fans can expect to see these figures late next year.
The actors were “photographed and 3D-scanned in costume on the Discovery sets in Toronto to give the figure sculptors the best reference information possible during the design phase, and we are sure that once the prototypes are revealed sometime next year, they’ll both be very close to screen-accurate.”
Also announced was a new Type II phaser prop from Star Trek: Discovery. The phaser prop will debut next year and will cost $39.99.
Expect more Trek-themed items from McFarlane Toys in the future, as their license covers the entire range of Star Trek set in the prime timeline.
