The Planetary Post: Solar Eclipse Edition

1 min read

In two weeks, a solar eclipse will be able to be seen across North America, and in his latest The Planetary Post, Robert Picardo focuses on the event.

A U.S. National Parks Service new Junior Ranger Eclipse Explorer activity book is available for children, to get them interested in the event.

Picardo also promoted three new videos by Bill Nye on the forthcoming eclipse, and he reminded viewers to use proper eye protection when viewing the event.

Another topic on this month’s Planetary Post is Starshade, a “new technology being studied by a team at JPL/NASA.”
