A new coin from the Perth Mint will be of interest to fans of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
The Star Trek: The Next Generation Crew 30th Anniversary 2017 2oz Silver Proof Coin was struck in honor of the 30th anniversary of the show.
The two-ounce coin is 99.99% pure silver, and is officially-licensed; with a numbered certificate (only three thousand have been made). It comes in a special presentation package which lights up when the lid is opened.
The Next Generation image is on the reverse of the coin. It features the Star Trek: The Next Generation Crew 30th Anniversary logo and an image of the main crew of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D.
