Star Trek Online Free Items

In honor of the release of Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek Online is offering captains some cool free stuff.
The first free item is a Star Trek: Discovery uniform, as worn by the USS Shenzhou crew.
The second item is a Type 7 Shuttle as seen on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Each Type 7 Shuttle is “equipped with an Ensign Engineering Bridge Officer station and Ensign Universal Bridge Officer station.”
In addition, a new The Next Generation-themed episode has been released. The episode is called Beyond the Nexus. “In Beyond the Nexus, players will team up with Starfleet Captain Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton) to aid in rescuing the crew of a Galaxy-class ship under attack.”
Collect your items from now through October 31 at 10 AM PDT.
In other Star Trek Online news, “from now through November 9 at 10:00 am PDT, console captains between levels 50-60 can team up for the five-player Arena of Sompek event. Rewards for participation include dilithium, marks, crafting material or the new ground weapon, the Sompek Pulsewave. In addition, Star Trek Online is holding a Champions of Sompek contest which will grant powerful starships and rewards to the top three competing teams.”
