2 min read

This weekend, those attending the New York Comic Con, or PaleyFest, will get to see some of the Star Trek: Discovery cast, writers, and producers in person.

The New York Comic Con runs from October 5-8 at the Javits Center. Of special interest to Trek fans will be the Star Trek: Discovery panel, to take place Saturday, October 7, from 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM at the Theater at Madison Square Garden.

The description of the panel is as follows: “This fall on CBS All Access, Star Trek: Discovery follows the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new life forms, while learning that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. The iconic television franchise, which first launched over fifty years ago, continues to remain true to its roots, and Starfleet’s steadfast ideals of adventure, an earnest pursuit for exploration, and the hope that we can all come together for a better tomorrow. Join members of the cast, alongside the creative minds behind the new series for a panel conversation on Star Trek: Discovery.”

Those in attendance will include actors Mary Chieffo, Wilson Cruz, Jason Isaacs, Doug Jones, Sonequa Martin-Green, Shazad Latif, Anthony Rapp, and Mary Wiseman.

Also on the panel will be Gretchen J. Berg, Akiva Goldsman, Aaron Harberts, Heather Kadin, and Alex Kurtzman. The panel will be moderated by former NASA astronaut Dr. Mae Jemison.
