Cromwell: No Pipeline!

1 min read

Star Trek: First Contact‘s James Cromwell is still trying to stop construction of a pipeline in Orange County, New York.

One of the concerns is to protect bald eagles which have been found along the path of the Millennium Pipeline.

“The eagle has landed!” chanted Cromwell and around forty others outside of Manhattan’s Thurgood Marshall Courthouse yesterday.

But it’s not just the eagles. “They’ve violated air and water quality standards,” said Cromwell. “They’ve cut down Shagbark trees. They violated an Indian burial ground. They basically did everything wrong they could do.”

A decision regarding the pipeline should come within several days.
