Star Trek: Discovery Pinewood Toronto Studios To Expand

Pinewood Toronto Studios, the home of Star Trek: Discovery, has plans to double in size.
Part of the reason is that Discovery is taking up a lot of room. “They gobble up a lot of space. So we need to expand,” said Alfredo Romano, a partner and investor in Pinewood Toronto Studios.
Pinewood Toronto will add 96,000 square feet of space by the end of 2019. This includes stages, workshops and production offices. The ultimate goal is to expand to 700,000 square feet, which would be more than double its current capacity of 330,000 square feet.
