New Star Trek: Discovery Comic Series Coming Soon

SyFy has announced that IDW Publishing will be releasing a new Star Trek: Discovery comic series, Star Trek: Discovery: Succession.
Star Trek: Discovery: Succession will “tie in directly with events in the second half of the hit series’ first season.”
The new comic series will be written by Mike Johnson and Kirsten Beyer. Each issue will “feature a ‘ships of the line’ cover by renowned comic artist Declan Shalvey and colorist Jordie Bellaire.” George Caitsoudas will provide a variant cover for issue number one, which will make its debut in April.
According to Sarah Gaydos, IDW editor, the new series will be set “this time in the Mirror Universe.”
