Star Trek: Discovery Wins Content Innovation Award

The Fourth Annual Content Innovation Awards ceremony was held earlier in the week in Cannes, and Star Trek: Discovery walked away with an award.
The Content Innovation Awards is “an initiative from Digital Europe and sister publication TBI-Television Business International, that celebrates innovation in content, distribution and delivery and the wide-ranging achievements of the companies and individuals who bring video content to the world.”
Star Trek: Discovery (CBS Television Studios, Secret Hideout, Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment), distributed by CBS Studios International won for Best Debut Drama Series.
Discovery beat out Gunpowder, Frankie Drake Mysteries, The Road to Calvary, and When Heroes Fly.
