Discovery Production Resumes In July

1 min read

Today, Production Weekly posted via their Twitter page that the third season of Star Trek: Discovery will begin production this summer.

Production will begin in Toronto at Pinewood Studios on July 8. This is the same place where the first two seasons of the show were produced.

The Star Trek Writers Twitter page had several people posting “301” posts on a white background after the formal announcement that Season Three would be taking place. “301” refers to the first episode of the third season.

Composer Jeff Russo posted “301” and below that, a musical staff and cleft.

We don’t know yet when Season Three will premiere, but would expect it at some point next year probably in the summer or autumn.
