Martin-Green In Talks For Space Jam 2

Sonequa Martin-Green, Discovery‘s Michael Burnham, is in negotiations for a role in Warner Bros.’ Space Jam 2. She would be joining LeBron James in the sequel to the 1996 film.
In Space Jam 2, Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes will “join forces with James on the court to take on an unknown entity.”
Martin-Green would be playing James’ wife.
Space Jam 2 (the name is a placeholder for the final title) will be directed by Terence Nance (Random Acts of Flyness), with Ryan Coogler, Charles Ebersol and Maverick Carter producing. James and Justin Lin will executive produce.
Expect to see Space Jam 2 on July 16, 2021.
