Star Trek Night Honors Anton Yelchin

This weekend, there will be a screening of Star Trek (2009) as part of a fundraiser for the Anton Yelchin Foundation.

The Anton Yelchin Foundation empowers and supports “young people engaged in creative arts who face career challenges due to debilitating disease or disability.”

In attendance will be Chris Pine, Star Trek (2009)‘s Captain James T. Kirk.

Attendees will also get to see a trailer for Love, Antosha, the documentary about Anton Yelchin, which is due to hit theaters on August 2.

The event takes place Sunday, June 9 (this weekend) at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on the Fairbanks Lawn. Gates open at 6:45 and it is recommended to arrive early. “Bring a picnic, enjoy sunset in the park and watch one of the great Star Trek films with your friends and other fans!”

Tickets for the even can be purchased here and will cost $18-$20.00.
