Peck In Marvels Podcast Series

2 min read

Ethan Peck, Star Trek: Discovery‘s Spock, will be taking part in Marvels, a ten-episode fictional podcast series.

Peck will take on the role of Reed Richards, Mister Fantastic, in the story which will “pick up in the aftermath of a battle between the Fantastic Four and the world-devouring cosmic entity known as Galactus. A campaign led by J. Jonah Jameson sees the superhero family dismissed as frauds and Galactus’ invasion written off as a hoax. Similar to the source material, the podcast series will be told from the perspective of the ordinary people who inhabit the Marvel world – with photographer Phil Sheldon, journalist Ben Urich, and a student named Marcia Hardesty all trying to uncover the truth.”

Hardesty, Sheldon, and Urich will be voiced by AnnaSophia Robb, Seth Barrish, and Clifford “Method Man” Smith. Ben Grimm will be voiced by Jake Hart, and Sue and Johnny Storm will be voiced by Louisa Krause and Ehad Berisha. Peter Parker will be voiced by Teo Rapp-Olsson, and Gabriel Ortega will voice Charlie Martinez.

“Building off our award-winning momentum of Marvel‘s Wolverine: The Long Night and its sequel Marvel‘s Wolverine: The Lost Trail, the New Media team is thrilled to continue to push the envelope of Super Hero storytelling via the scripted podcast medium,” said Shane Rahmani, SVP and GM, Marvel New Media. “We are passionate about the space and feel we’ve brought the right cast, story, and intrigue in this latest installment.”

The Marvels podcast series will debut later this year.
