July-August Trek Conventions And Appearances

There will be eleven conventions, shows or appearances in July and August that feature actors of interest to Star Trek fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek movies.
There will be three conventions in July, beginning with Polaris 26, which will take place July 6-8 at the Sheraton Parkway North Toronto in Richmond Hill, Canada. In attendance at Polaris 26 will be Robert O’Reilly, Wil Wheaton and J.G. Hertzler.
Next up is the London Film & Comic Con, taking place the same weekend. The London Film & Comic Con will be held at the Olympia Grand Hall in London, England. In attendance will be Elizabeth Dennehy (Commander Shelby), Robert Duncan McNeill, Jeri Ryan, Karl Urban, Gates McFadden, and Hallie Todd (Lal).
Finishing up July will be the San Diego Comic Con, which takes place July 12-15 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. Trek author Andy Mangels will be in attendance at the San Diego Comic-Con.
August will be a busy month for conventions. The month will begin with
Shore Leave 34, which will be held Aug 3-5 at the Hunt Valley Marriott near Baltimore, Maryland. In attendance at Shore Leave 34 will be Kate Mulgrew and LeVar Burton.
Next up is the Official Star Trek Convention, to be held from Aug 9-12 at the Rio Suites Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Plenty of Trek actors will be in attendance at this convention, including: William Shatner, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew, Scott Bakula, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Ron Moore, Michael Dorn, Colm Meaney, Ben Vereen (Edward La Forge), LeVar Burton, Marina Sirtis, Gates McFadden, John de Lancie, Diana Muldaur, Walter Koenig, George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, Grace Lee Whitney, Rene Auberjonois, Ethan Phillips, Tim Russ, Roxann Dawson, Robert Beltran, Connor Trinneer, Dominic Keating, Robert Picardo, David Gerrold, David Livingston, Ira Steven Behr, Brannon Braga, Rod Roddenberry, Jacqueline Kim (Demora Sulu), Robin Curtis, Eric Menyuk (The Traveler), Chase Masterson, Anthony Montgomery, Robert Duncan McNeill, Garrett Wang, Armin Shimerman, Max Grodenchik, Aron Eisenberg, Casey Biggs, Jeffrey, Combs, J G Hertzer, Robert O’Reilly, Alexander Enberg (Vorik) and more.
The Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention will be held from Aug 9-11 at the Marriott Hotel in Hunt Valley, MD. In attendance will be James Darren and Sherry Jackson (Andrea).
From Aug 9-12, Wizard World Comic-Con will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. In attendance at Wizard World Chicago will be William Shatner, Scott Bakula, Kate Mulgrew and Avery Brooks.
Another convention will be held in Chicago from Aug 10-12, the Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention, which will take place at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill. In attendance will be Tony Todd and Jeffrey Combs.
On the same date, Space City Con will be held at the Westin Galleria Convention Center & Hotel in Houston, Texas. In attendance at Space City Con will be Nichelle Nichols.
Next will be the Fan Expo Canada, to be held from Aug 23-26 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Canada. In attendance at Fan Expo Canada will be Sir Patrick Stewart.
Wrapping up August will be Dragon*Con, held in Atlanta, Georgia. In attendance at Dragon*Con will be Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Saul Rubinek, Sir Patrick Stewart, Tim Russ, Garrett Wang, LeVar Burton, Nichelle Nichols, Robert Picardo, and Connor Trinneer.
