New Trek T-Shirt Design Contest

WeLoveFine.com has announced their second fan-designed Star Trek T-shirt contest.

Launched yesterday, the Star Trek Design Contest will offer prizes up to $2,500.

“It’s time to man all stations once again, Starfleet, and get ready to knock our socks off with your design skills! Our first Star Trek t-shirt design contest was a resounding success, generating some of the most inspirational and original designs in our Trek collection! Therefore we’re thrilled to announce that we’re doing it again, launching into the enduring sense of spirit and adventure that Gene Roddenberry‘s legacy inspires in so many science fiction fans with our second Star Trek Design Contest! Once again, the artists who enter will have a broad spectrum of subjects to dedicate their artistic efforts to; the original series, as well as Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager… all of the Star Trek television incarnations can be designed into for this contest, so give us a glimpse at your favorite characters in your eyes! You could win up to $2,500 or one of our extra-special guest judges’ pick awards, plus a chance to have your artwork turned into official Star Trek merchandise! ‘Boldly Go’ forth and enter your finest designs, and good luck everyone!”

Judges for the contest will be The Next Generation‘s LeVar Burton, The Nerdist Podcast‘s Matt Mira, and StarTrek.com.

Those participating may enter up to five entries, in a GIF, PNG or JPG format. The contest will end at 11:59:59 PM PST on August 6.

  1. I wonder if LeVar Burton will be as obviously biased toward Geordi designs as Nichelle Nichols was toward Uhura concepts last time…
