1 min read

A new Star Trek-themed merchandise line has been announced at San Diego Comic-Con.

The new line is Star Trek Skele-Trek.

“CBS Consumer Products has created the Star Trek Skele-Treks universe as inspired by Mexican culture and traditions in conjunction with Mexico-based Maya Studio and Spanish artist Javi Molner. CBS Consumer Products has licensed National Entertainment Collectibles Association, Inc. (NECA), to introduce a multi-category collection utilizing a signature artistic style. Initial Star Trek Skele-Treks products will be unveiled at this year’s biggest entertainment expo, Comic-Con International: San Diego 2013.

“Beginning in September, NECA will roll out the first cross-category collection of Star Trek Skele-Treks products worldwide including apparel, accessories, figures, plush and more featuring Captain Kirk, Klingons and the Borg. Future collections will feature iconic Star Trek characters.

“‘Star Trek Skele-Treks offers fans a whole new universe to explore with their favorite characters,“ said Liz Kalodner, Executive Vice President and General Manager of CBS Consumer Products. “With unexpected designs and NECA’s one-of-a-kind ideas, Star Trek Skele-Treks will provide fans with new ways to celebrate the final frontier.'”
