Three New Trek Toys

Three new Trek-themed products from Diamond Select will be released soon.
The items are a Klingon Bird-of-Prey Electronic Ship, The Cage Enterprise MiniMates Vehicle, and a Captain Kirk Granix Slate Artwork.
The Klingon Bird-of-Prey is the HMS Bounty, featured in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Measuring 19″x12″and with sound and dialogue from The Voyage Home, the ship was designed and sculpted by Art Asylum.
Also designed and sculpted by Art Asylum is The Cage MiniMates Vehicle, based on the original series Enterprise. Ten inches in length, the ship comes with an exclusive Captain Pike Figure. The cockpit opens on this model.
The Captain Kirk Granix Slate Artwork features Captain Kirk on the Enterprise bridge. The plaque is 7.5″ by 5.5″ and comes with a display stand.
Each of the items will be available for pre-order beginning this Friday. The Klingon Bird-of-Prey will sell for $70; The Cage MiniMates Vehicle will sell for $29.99; and the Captain Kirk Granix will sell for $34.99.

Ahem. The “cockpit”? Excuse me, did ya’ll just call the bridge the “cockpit”? For shame. Shame on you all, callin’ the bridge a goddang cockpit.
It’s appropriate when Kirk swells up to occupy the whole dang bridge, like some miniature Shatner’s ego.
Works best if you put on the ceiling over your bed and just wait for the magic to happen.
