This Sunday, the remake of Rosemary’s Baby, starring Zoe Saldana and Patrick Adams, will air on NBC.

NBC has released new images from the two-part miniseries.

In the new remake, based on the 1967 novel of the same name by Ira Levin, a “young married couple … escapes New York and moves to Paris with hopes of leaving their sad past behind. After a series of unfortunate events, Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse are presented with an offer they can’t refuse – an apartment with the most prestigious address in the city. Problem is, it comes with a haunted past and an immeasurable price.”

At first, life is good and Guy’s career soars. The couple finds out that they are to become parents. But soon, Rosemary worries that her husband “may have made a pact with their neighbors, promising the newborn as a human sacrifice in their occult rituals in exchange for a writing career. What lengths are you willing to go for success and fortune?”

Rosemary’s Baby airs on NBC Sunday, May 11 and Thursday May 15, from 9-11 PM.

  1. Another clear sign that Hollywood is running out of ideas!

Even though I did NOT like the original 1968 Roman Polanski film, it is still considered a classic Gothic horror film by many.

Seriously, why remake a classic when the industry can come up with something original?
