It’s a new week, and time for the latest episode of The Red Shirt Diaries, which chronicles the adventures of the hapless Ensign Williams.

This week’s episode is based on the original series episode Dagger of the Mind.

In Dagger of The Mind, Ensign Williams find out that being quartered next door to Sickbay is not always a good thing, when a new patient, Doctor Adams, arrives from a penal colony.

Between that and a strange communication from Captain Kirk, Ensign Williams is having a difficult time finishing her video letter to her parents.
