MTV ‘Spoilers’ Star Trek XI Footage
1 min readThe Star Trek XI behind-the-scenes featurette from MTV’s Spoilers was released online today after last night’s airing of the second episode of the movie review show.
As reported by MTV, the new featurette, introduced by Zachary Quinto and running just over a minute in length, is basically a recap of what has already been seen before, with the exception of a shot with J.J. Abrams on what appears to be the bridge of another starship, and a short glimpse of Kirk and Spock fighting each other as seen on a monitor. There are also brief comments from several of the Star Trek XI actors in the short clip.The clip can be seen here.
The second featurette shows some of the same scenes from the film and also offers actor commentary, but then Wil Wheaton is brought in briefly to answer questions about Star Trek XI and Star Trek in general. Amongst the questions asked are “Why are Kirk and Spock fighting?” and “Is (the clip of Kirk making love to a woman) that supposed to be Kirk and Uhura?”
