1 min read

A new short comic gives details on Spock’s life before Star Trek XI.

As reported by io9, J.J. Abrams was guest editor of the most recent issue of Wired Magazine, and included in that issue is a six-page comic that fills in the backstory of Spock.
Drawn by Paul Pope, the story explains how Spock grew up dealing with various puzzles during his adolescence, as well as having to subdue a black panther-type animal he encounters.

In addition, a hint is given that Spock must make an enormous decision that will change the course of the U.S.S. Enterprise’s history.
