Four Golden Trailer Awards For Star Trek XI
1 min readThe Tenth Annual Golden Trailer Awards were announced on Friday and Star Trek XI collected four awards, including one for Best in Show.
As reported by indieWIRE, Star Trek fans should not be surprised to hear that Star Trek XI won the Summer 2009 Blockbuster Award, as Star Trek XI is still leading the financial pack of movies after being out for four weeks.
In addition to the Best in Show and Summer Blockbuster Award, Star Trek XI won the Best Summer 2009 TV shot for its “Dare” ad, which aired during the Superbowl. This is the ad in which Christopher Pike “dares” young Kirk to do better than his father.
The fourth award won by Star Trek XI was for: Best Summer 2009 Blockbuster Poster.
