  1. The photo at the top of this article shows exactly why Star Trek fans get such a bad rap. It looks like a Care in the Community day out.

  2. Another one you missed is Ottawa Comiccon, May 12-13, which will have Patrick Stewart as guest of honour. (He’s busy this con season…) John de Lancie is also on board.

  3. going to the one in Peterborough, England. Don’t see many of these over here, and not so close to my home as this, can’t wait.

  4. Even people who’ve so far been sucked in by The Greatest Show in the Galaxy are now asking difficult questions of the man running this event. Word is they’re not getting any proper answers from him.

  5. Google the part in caps. Simon is likening con-goers to the variously incapacitated. (People with glass-windowed avatars shouldn’t throw stones, I think.)

  6. Considering all the trouble that Starship Farragut has been in since last April(i.e. being associated with Vic Mignogna, the Starship Ajax debacle, the Kitumba fiasco, and now the upcoming farce that is known as Star Trek Continues), it’s a small wonder that the Starship Farragut people haven’t been banned from various Star Trek Conventions like their business partner(the aforementioned Vic Mignogna)has.

Maybe, it’s about time they were.
