Trek Nation Screening To Kick Off San Diego Comic Con

1 min read

Trek Nation, the Rod Roddenberry documentary, will be shown at San Diego’s Birch North Park Theater on July 12 at 7 PM as a kick-off to the San Diego Comic Con.

“Through exclusive footage and interviews with devoted fans, including George Lucas, J.J. Abrams, Seth MacFarlane and many notable Star Trek alumni, Trek Nation chronicles a son’s journey to discover his father and the creation that helped define modern-day science fiction.”

The screening of the ninety-minute film will be followed by an “intimate question and answer session” with Trek Nation Executive Producer Rod Roddenberry.

The screening of Trek Nation is free, but space is limited. Tickets may be obtained through the Trek Nation website, which will guarantee entrance to the movie and for the Q&A session to follow.

Fans are encouraged to come in costume.

Trek Nation will not be officially released on DVD until this fall, but attendees to the special screening will be able to purchase a copy, and it will also be available for sale at the San Diego Comic Con. Roddenberry will sign purchased DVDS after the Q&A during a “meet-and-greet” at the West Coast Tavern.
