Preview of 2013 Hallmark Star Trek Ornaments

1 min read

This week, at the Comic-con in San Diego, fans got to see next year’s Hallmark holiday ornaments.

The 2012 Hallmark Star Trek ornaments will debut this weekend though, and include the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, An Extraordinary Meeting, and Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy.

The An Extraordinary Meeting ornament is the Star Trek XI meeting of the two Spocks, one from each reality. The sound includes dialogue clips from this momentous Star Trek event.

The 2013 ornaments will include Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott, Arena and Star Trek XI‘s USS Kelvin ship.

The “must have” ornament for 2013 will be the Arena ornament, which features the battle between the Gorn captain and Captain Kirk. This ornament will include sound and music from the episode.

  1. Just got the 2012 Enterprise-D. Like the voice over of Capt. Picard but, as this is a battery powered ship and sits on a stand, I would have thought that the ship would have lit up like the first version plug in ship… it does not. Oh well, have it anyway to complete the collection. 2013’s Kelvin looks good, but would prefer to get the 1701 B & C first. Hint Hint Hallmark

  2. 2013 is Deep Space Nine’s 20th Anniversary, and we get yet more TOS ornaments. No DS9 Ornaments for 12 years now. C’mon Hallmark! Why SO much TOS?

  3. Finally! A Scotty ornament! More Gorn! The 2009 movie stuff is very weak….can’t wait for a Sulu one!!!
