2 min read

A new MIMOBOT Star Trek-themed designer USB flash drive will debut at San Diego Comic-Con this week.

The Trek-themed MIMOBOT will be one of eight limited-edition and four other MIMOBOT flash drives released at the Comic-Con.

The Trek-themed MIMOBOT will be a Star Trek into Darkness Klingon Captain MIMOBOT. The Klingon Captain MIMOBOT will come in a limited run of one thousand, and is “Mimoco‘s first plunge into the universe launched by the major motion picture Star Trek and Star Trek into Darkness. As one of the few alien races to show up in every series, it was only a matter of time before the Klingons had a MIMOBOT of their very own. Klingon Captain MIMOBOT comes with a helmet which, when removed, reveals a menacing grimace underneath. Only one thousand Klingon MIMOBOTS are being manufactured, so get your hands on them before Kirk does!”

“Eight years ago, we ventured to change the face of electronics in the guise of designer toys,” said Mimoco CEO Evan Blaustein. “Now that we’re working with so many great licensing partners, it’s clear that our vision has come into focus. At Comic-Con 2013, we’re proud of our greatest MIMOBOT roster yet. Each year at SDCC represents another birthday milestone for Mimoco, and this year more than ever we’re excited for what the future holds. Here’s to another eight years.”

The MIMOBOTS included at San Diego Comic-Con this year include the Klingon Captain, Chewbacca Variant (Star Wars), Blake (Workaholics), Mysterion (South Park), Cartman (South Park), Dead Kenny (South Park), My Little Pony, Ice King (Adventure Time), Bruce Lee Variant, Galaxor 2, Pinkie Pie (My Little Pony), and Marceline (Adventure Time).

“Each MIMOBOT is preloaded with exclusive Mimory content including the MimoByte sound software, MimoDesk wallpapers, icons, and avatars, and other bonus content like TV episodes and digital comic books.”

The twelve MIMOBOTS can be seen at the following places at Comic-Con: Toy Grower section (#5338), and the Star Wars Pavilion (#2913M).
