Last summer, TrekToday reported on a new line of Trek-themed merchandise, Star Trek Skele-Treks, and today comes word that the Skele-Treks have begun to ship.

The Skele-Treks universe is inspired by Mexican culture and traditions in conjunction with Mexico-based Maya Studio and Spanish artist Javi Molner, and were seen at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

Five inches tall, the Skele-Treks, which come as Kirk, a Klingon, and a Borg, sell for $15.95 each. They can be ordered now at Amazon.

Star Trek Skele-Treks offers fans a whole new universe to explore with their favorite characters,” said Liz Kalodner, Executive Vice President and General Manager of CBS Consumer Products. “With unexpected designs and NECA’s one-of-a-kind ideas, Star Trek Skele-Treks will provide fans with new ways to celebrate the final frontier.”
