1 min readFour new posters from Bye Bye Robot will be of interest to Star Trek: The Next Generation fans.
The posters are based on the four The Next Generation movies; Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, and Star Trek: Nemesis.
Sold individually, or as a set of four, the lithograph posters are 12″x24″ and are printed on heavy weight 100lb paper. Matt Ferguson, who also created the six original series movie posters, is also the creator of the four The Next Generation posters.
Individually, the posters sell for $25.00 each, but can be purchased as a set of four for $85.00, saving $15.00. To order any or all of the posters, head to the link located here.
I’m not really a fan of the First Contact one but these are pretty cool.
That Generations one is tempting. I think it’s as good or better than the actual film poster.
I think these posters look great, but Insurrection is pretty generic. It doesn’t say anything about the movie at all. And that says something about the movie’s primary flaw — that it doesn’t have a clear, definite, memorable purpose to the plot. The controversy about the Baku isn’t much of one in the movie, and any discussion about its ethics is primarily up to the viewers, so there’s no drama to feel with the characters. And the villains were just simply forgettable.
